Peter has amassed almost three decades of diverse experience across recruitment, organisational development, governance, and advisory board sectors. Their work spans a broad range of industries, including education, health, building and construction, finance and banking, state and federal public sector, manufacturing, mining/resources, IT/technology, energy, industrial/professional services, and executive education.
Notable career achievements include:
– Supporting hundreds of individuals through effective career transitions, from senior executives to railway gang workers.
– Delivering the search and selection process for the appointment of a new CEO to a prominent local council following a Crime and Corruption Commission investigation.
– Recruiting hundreds of mining personnel for BMA Queensland coal mines.
– Designing, selling, and delivering a comprehensive leadership accountability system for a rapidly growing VET provider with 800 staff, defining all leadership roles from C-suite to frontline in terms of measurable results across key areas.
– Creating and delivering two-day governance education seminars for Indigenous Elders serving as health service board members in Cherbourg, Mt Isa, Yarrabah, Aurukun, and Stradbroke Island.
– Designing and implementing a strategic planning process for a commercial building construction and design company with an annual turnover of $35 million.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Science and a Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology from the University of Queensland, as well as Advisory Board Chair certification from the Advisory Board Centre.
Outside of work, Peter maintains a high level of fitness, follows global current affairs, and enjoys Cuban and Brazilian Latin dancing.
